    That’s a Bradford Pear Tree, in case you’re interested. It doesn’t bear any fruit, they grow quickly, but after 20 yrs, they start to go bad. The wood is soft and the branch structure is poor…or at least that’s what it said on a website I read.

    I’m thinking of planting an oak or maple tree to the left of the pear tree.
